almost exactly as you described. You need to send in your ECU to be reprogrammed. A custom program module is installed inside the ECU that switches between two engine control programs. Program #1 is our normal performance program, used to produce maximum power when nitrous oxide is not used. Program #2 is activated only when the nitrous arming switch is on, and the throttle has been fully depressed. On turbo cars, our system is designed as a supplemental system to fill in the low-end power missing from high-output turbocharged cars. The system automatically shuts itself off when the turbochargers have sufficiently spun up to carry the power demand.
